What it is
A free set of calculators and plain-language guides covering insurance needs, retirement, CPF and CPF LIFE, budgeting, property affordability and stamp duties, SRS, education funding, net worth and car costs.
Who it's for
Singapore residents who want a quick, private way to sanity-check their money decisions before speaking to a professional.
Why it exists
Official rules are scattered across many agencies. PlanLiaoMah brings the common calculations together, clearly dated and linked back to the primary sources.
Who runs this, and how it's kept accurate
PlanLiaoMah is independently built and maintained in Singapore. It is not run by a licensed financial adviser and does not provide personalised recommendations — it sells no financial products, carries no advertising, and earns no commissions from anything you calculate here.
Accuracy is the whole point of the site, so every regulated figure follows the same editorial process:
- Primary sources only. Rates and thresholds (CPF contribution rates and ceilings, retirement sums, stamp-duty tiers, SRS caps, loan rules, vehicle taxes) are taken from CPF Board, IRAS, HDB, MAS and LTA pages — each linked on the sources page — never from third-party summaries.
- Dated verification. Every page carries a "rules last verified" date, and figures are re-checked against the official pages when rules change (Budget announcements, CPF updates, cooling measures).
- Tested calculation code. Before each release, the shipped calculator code is run through an automated test suite of roughly 280,000 checks — boundary cases, official rounding conventions and cross-engine reconciliation.
- Assumptions labelled as assumptions. Anything that is a projection (future interest, inflation, returns) is labelled as an editable assumption, never presented as an official figure.

Spotted a figure that doesn't match an official source? Email hello@planliaomah.sg — verified corrections are prioritised and the verification date is updated.
